Annexes

New Annexe Licence Application

Schools planning to use a new Annexe, must submit their application for approval at least 6 weeks before intended use of Annexe. Please click here to access the application form. In order to process the application, the respective school needs to submit the following documentation:

Copies of qualifications of Annexe Manager (Level 5 in ELT, 1000 hrs of ELT experience, and ELT permit);
Copy of the premises floor plan, clearly marking classrooms, restrooms, offices and common areas;
Dimensions of classrooms and maximum capacity of students in each classroom;
Legal proof of premises disposal (This could be contract of purchase or lease agreement);
A signed copy of the Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessment Compliance Report as issued by an OHSA approved individual.

Upon approval, a €100 licence fee is applicable.

Annexes Already Licensed

Schools using already approved annexes should notify the ELT Council via email (info.eltcouncil@gov.mt). The email should include the following information:

Annexe operational dates;
Annexe operational hours;
Full name and contact details (contact number and email address) of annexe manager;
Updated lease agreement (if applicable)
