Distance Learning Expert in Digital Technology

The ELT Council is seeking a suitable individual with expertise in distance learning to chair a working group that will be set up to process applications from distance learning providers in line with criteria laid out in legal notice 221 of 2015, ELT Council regulations.

The eligibility requisites for such services include:

• Evaluation of proposals received;
• Reviewing criteria and updating from time to time;
• Make recommendations to the ELT Council related to distance learning;
• Develop a report of best practices and make recommendations aimed towards sectoral improvement in the provision of distance learning;
• Perform any other duty assigned by the ELT Council in relation to distance learning.

Requirements:

• Level 7 qualification that included or was supplemented by major study in digital technology or education specialising in DT;
• Expert knowledge in relevant field;
• At least 2 years of experience in evaluating digital learning processes;
• Attention to detail;
• Experience in quality assurance will be considered an asset.

Remuneration:

A rate of €25/hour for a maximum of €1,500 per annum will be paid.
